Just thought I would share a part of what my life is like. Doing big houses like this really gives a feeling of accomplishment.

So...you added a floor to the house and I wondering if you do that kind of work for a living? In any case, impressive. How long did it take? And...that is a last picture is of you, right?

Hats off to ya, my first and only framing roof job was on about a 40 degree roof ... 10 pitch (had to re-look it up). This was 3 stories. The main guy I equated to a monkey, he was hanging over the edges with a circular saw cutting dove tails and what ever ... I was asked to stay on the ground because I couldn't move my 6" per second unless I had toe boards and was flat on my stomach (which made bringing boards hard to the guys that were fearless) Smile. Never heard from them again, humph.

I have shingled, but only on 1 story homes after this framing experience. You guys rock.

That is some serious labor there is all I have to say. Is work still a 4 letter word? Smile

Yes I am a roofer, I've been doing it for 13 years.

And yes that is me in the last picture with my proper Canadian headgear. Well call them tuque's.

This house has a 10/12 pitch, that is a 39.81 degree angle, they don't get much steeper than that in my part of the world.
